This is absolutely one of my favorite "recipes". Though it takes a few hours to prepare (at least for me), the end results are well worth it, and I have yummy meals for a few days. Mmmmm.
This simple and delicious recipe comes from Freelee. OH MY GOODNESS--SO good! I have prepared it twice for company in the last two weeks and have given away lots of samples, and everyone (including me) loves it!
How can I eat leafy greens without all the unhealthy salad toppings? This was always my question. Before we had a blender, I used a food processor to try to make "green smoothies"...which is how I first began eating "food-processed salads". Now I LOVE them!
Like so many others, this dish was created by an occasion of throwing together whatever fruit & veggies were ripe and ready-to-eat. It tasted AMAZING! This combo has since become my absolute favorite summer salad.
What is an easy fruit-based dish to take to a social gathering that is sure to be a hit with everyone? Here it is! Apples dipped in "caramel" sauce are a delicious, healthy treat for all!
Low-fat raw vegan dressing recipes abound...for those who like fruity, vinaigrette-type dressings. But what about for those of us who love the taste of dairy-based dressings, such as ranch, caesar, and blue cheese? I was thrilled when someone introduced me to this recipe...it has saved my raw vegan salad-eating life! :)
